Today, people particularly the younger generations,  enjoy the benefits of technologies empowering themselves with tools and team up in network.  They do things so different these days, such as:

• Communicate with distant friends via emails
• Wireless and cell phones with multiple functions
• Going to school by car
• Attending class via video connection
• Cooking with electricity or gas
• Reading news on the internet at home and on the go
• Paperback books in libraries are replaced by ebooks
• Working very smart to make money fast
• Get rich at light speed through modern tools and system

My friends I brought out these differences to bring out the point that the contemporary world with its advances in technologies and changes of people 's value have remodel all business activities.   Things impossible to achieve in the old days are now possible.  Things are done much faster than they were used to.

What we boomers have plenty in retirement is time, knowledge, experience and know-how.   However, finance is shaky.  For most boomers, we need to build for ourselves new incomes as lifeboats.  Building your own blog or website is a very good option. It is easy to learn how to do-it-yourself. It doesn't take long, and you can have a blog or website up and running within a few days as there is  the virtual and online mentors  who walk you through the process step by step. How about a blog readily available and people can jump on to it...  start blogging and collect money?   It seems unreal.  Let me tell you you have to think again.

In the old days only the very large corporations and wealthy millionaires could do it.    Now we can reach out to people 10, 100 even 1,000 times with the same message for little or even no cost at all.   Now, you and me  are able to create MORE results with less work and less time.  Boomers and retirees for once making a truly part time business a reality for the average person with a full schedule and a limited budget.  The internet is now the primary method for doing market research and making purchasing decisions due to its speed, efficiency and practical applications.  With your I-Phone or Blackberry at the press of the buttons you can find and select the restaurant of your choice with detailed description and exact location, thanks to Google Map and Google Places for their innovative applications.  What is most amazing is that these tools are completely free. Guys, it is cool.  Let us make these invaluable toools to work for us making more money.  The key question is 'How To'.  We  shall come back on this very  important point.


During the 60s through 80s all people used the one-to-one prospecting and daily cold calling.   Salesmen and medical detailmen walked the streets and knocked at doors to meet people seeking their  potential prospects.   If you are still using this method you are losing your fair share of  your customers and prospects to those who are positioning themselves as valuable resources using the internet.   Friends, no matter what business you are in, your job is to become a producer and distributor of information. My friends I brought out these differences to bring out the point that the contemporary world with its advances in technologies and changes of people 's value have remodel all business activities.   Things impossible to achieve in the old days are now possible.  Things are done much faster than they were used to.
