Angus Glen Community Centre
Every Thursday I would go to meet the boomer friends at Angus Glen Community Centre. It is situated at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Major McKenzie Drive East just opposite the West Village of Angus Glen Golf Course. The Thursday program kicks off at 9;30 a.m. starting with physical exercises to warm up the body. It is followed by Respiratory Exercises, Taichi 24, Swimming Dragon, line dance, etc. This program is open to every body. You don't need to pay membership fee. People can just walk in and donate 50 cents to the deposit box. Put down your name and you are ready to start the exercises program for the day with the other boomer participants.
The community building is pretty new.
Facilities inside are new and well maintained. For example, the Library is
designed to respond to the needs of the large and growing Angus Glen community,
as well as to serve as a resource library for the central west part of the Town
of Markham. At almost 30,000 sq. ft., the Angus Glen Library will be designed
for the 21st century community gathering place, and a place that will celebrate
and honour books and reading while also providing the latest in technology and
access to the digital world of information

Richmond Hill Christian Community Church
Today's post is about baby boomers stretching exercises
for low back pain relief. This is a follow up of the seminar organized
by Richmond Hill Christian Community Church
on common pain syndrome last Wednesday. I attend this Wednesday 3-hour
golden age gathering almost every week. The time there is well spent
on Taichi, Wellness Seminar and Bible Study. Yesterday's post on
stretching exercises for neck pain is also a follow up.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
