I am not a pastor, nor a deacon. I am a Roman Catholic a lay person believing and practising Christianity according to the teaching of Jesus Christ. I want to share what I perceived and believed in.
If you are a Christian, you know the bibiical verse 'Your Kingdom Come ' ex the 'Our Father' prayer. Jesus taught this prayer personally to His apostles who followed him spreading the Gospel of God. This is the model prayer for all Christians. It is the guideline for people who pray to God. The English version of this prayer is:
With the above background, simply imagine what will be the feeling within Jesus when he taught His Apostles the prayer 'Our Father'?
Jesus is the son of God. He came from God's Kingdom. He is all-knowing. HE humbly took fresh and came on earth born in the manger. He faced cruelty and poverty from day one. He undertook all sufferings on earth and later die on the cross at the age of 33.
Jesus being son of God in fresh experienced our human pain and sufferings. He pitied His people and earnestly prayed to His Father that His Father; the God and His Kingdom come on earth relieving all people believing and practising His teachings.
When Jesus prayed, he deeply sympathized the poor people around him, He prayed that His Father's Kingdom would come where there is abundance of love and peace. The hunger will be fed, the thirst will be quenched, the naked will be clothed.
The Love and Peace from God and His beloved son becomes His preaching. He planted seeds of faith, love and hope into all believers of the early Church. The value of God and His Kingdom is planted in the hearts of these people sharing and practising what Jesus taught.
Per the prayer 'Our Father', the verse 'Your Kingdom Come' was the hope for the people then and there following Jesus. It is also the hope for all Christians in the time line of people.
I believe that the Kingdom of God is there all the time before and throughout the history of mankind. the Kingdom of God is God Himself and all those within His Reign, the universe, the earth, Heaven, the visibles and invisibles.
The Original Sin of Adam and Eve brought about the deprivation of our Heavenly Relationship with God. Through Jesus and His Redemption people have a second chance for entry to the Kingdom of God.
As the Words of God are seeded within people, the seeds of God's Kingdom are with people. People have to take good care of their Seeds. A day will come for God to judge these seeds.
A good reference point for our belief is the Apostle's Creed.
1. I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
2. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
3. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit & born of Virgin Mary.
4. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
5. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again.
6. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

Your kingdom come,
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
